The Volunteer Experience
It is important to us that your volunteer experience is positive. We will team you up with staff to make sure you are well prepared, and that the opportunity fits your skill sets as well as any personal or professional goals. We will also be sure to involve you in our community events.
Current Needs
Receptionist
The receptionist helps to greet visitors and direct them appropriately; notify shelter staff of visitor arrival, and maintain security and telecommunications systems.
Children’s Program Assistant
Children’s Program Assistant supports the Child Advocate in her services to children and youth residing at the House of Peace emergency shelter.
